The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Rialto Theatre, organise on the 29th November a Pre-event as part of the 11th Cyprus Jazz & World Music Showcase 2024 at Technopolis20 in Paphos at 8pm.
Participating Bands: Nama Dama and Chunky Funky
Nama Dama is a performance artist from Cyprus. Her music is a combination of folk and electronic, accompanied by both atmospheric and intense vocals. Using live looping as her compass, she turns her one-woman act into a unique colorful ritual. She began performing in 2019, slowly building a loyal fanbase, releasing her first EP "Confessions to My Songbird" in 2021. Nama Dama has since performed at Tremor Festival in the Azores, twice at Fengaros Festival in Cyprus, Athens Music Week, Pulsar Festival in Samothraki, and TEDx Limassol.
